As people we're really visual. We see someone and make a snap judgement--even if we have never met the person before! Judgments can be mean and can really lower self esteem... Sometimes it can feel like no one really sees the REAL YOU! People just have a first impression and that's it... Luckily God SEES YOU! 

 

Unlike people, God isn't worried about what you look like. He cares about YOU. Who you are and what your heart holds. He sees the real YOU-- the best you that you can be--even if the world doesn't see you the same way.

 



 



 Jesus loved the people that the world didn't. He saw what was on the INSIDE-- the real person underneath the external appearance! A great example of Jesus loving the unlovable is found in Luke 19:1-10. This is the story of Zacchaeus--a tax collector that everyone hated... except Jesus! He actually reached out to Zacchaeus and LOVED him! Jesus saw what Zacchaeus had on the INSIDE. And best of all, because of Jesus' love, Zacchaeus CHANGED-- for the better!

I think we should take Jesus and an example and try to look past outward appearances... we should try to actually SEE people-- the BEST in them!

When you look to find BEAUTY and GOODNESS in people instead of snap judgements, you may find that you will find the meaning of true beauty! Not only that, but you yourself will have better relationships and embody BEAUTY itself! You shouldn't judge someone based on looks alone... you never know what someone is going through....

 



 

Be kind. Try to SEE people-- the real them, the BEST them.

He Reigns

Life is good. Really it's truly wonderful! We all live, love and laugh a lot and even when we face hardships it always turns out for the better. I think that is truly STUPENDOUS!

 

 

 It amazes me that some people will look at all of the great things that happen and think it happens by accident...it's exceedingly obvious to me that we have someone up there--aka in heaven--looking out for us!

 

God does AMAZING things! Without Him, I personally would be lost... for that reason I think we owe Him all of our PRAISE, LOVE, and DEVOTION!

 

Jesus fills me with such joy that I just want to share it with the ENTIRE WORLD! I just want to sing so everyone can hear me--God reigns over the entire earth and He loves you and me! His love is always there and He wants us to be happy. We have someone who looks out for us... isn't that something we should celebrate? This song, He Reigns, by Newsboys inspires me to PRAISE God!

 

 

People world wide are shouting out to God-- So join the movement and PRAISE Him because HE REIGNS!!

Drive

We are human. We are wonderful, funny, sinful, and sometimes we get a little lost. That is when we need to turn to our Father, for help.

 

 

Being human we do screw up, but luckily we have the OPPORTUNITY to put God in CONTROL. If we relinquish our control and let God direct our lives and our paths, we can't go wrong! We need to take our hands off the wheel and let God DRIVE. 

 

Carrie Underwood's song, Jesus Take the Wheel, is such and inspiring song. We need to admit that we don't know where we're going, and we need to give all of the power to CHRIST! No matter what has happened it's never too late to turn to God--isn't that such an AMAZING promise? God is so WONDERFUL that He will always be there to point us in the right direction. Since He made our path, how can He be wrong? 

 

 If we turn to God when we feel LOST and in all aspects of our lives, He will show us which way to go! You just have to stop trying to control everything and let God DRIVE in your life.

Faith

Speaking from experience, it can be really easy to lose hope and faith in God. We pray and when what we ask for doesn't happen ,we assume that God didn't answer. Maybe He did, but He just said no. I believe that we need to always have FAITH in God and trust that He will do things in our best interests!

God knows the plans He has for you--in other words, DON'T WORRY! Trust God to work everything. He will give you everything you need so don't spend all you're time worrying about it. Instead cast your anxieties on Christ! 

 

When you choose to BELIEVE and TRUST in God, everything will happen in it's correct time. God knows what He's doing, so keep your FAITH in Him! With FAITH and our God, ANYTHING is possible! 

 

Having FAITH won't always be easy--people and circumstances will make us doubt... but it is important to remember that God is ALWAYS there! If we have FAITH in Him we can accomplish anything! 

 

 "He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

 

With a little FAITH, TRUST and God on our side, there is nothing we can't accomplish! He is wonderful and He will strengthen us. We can do ANYTHING that He calls us to do as long as we keep the FAITH!

Empty

Do you ever feel EMPTY, like you have nothing to live for? Maybe you live solely for yourself and you feel like your existence here has no rhyme or reason. God is the answer. He supplies a purpose, a love and joy that you can't find anywhere else!

Christ is our one true SAVIOR. He FILLS us when we are empty. Many people go their entire lives without finding something to live for or to work for. They go their entire lives living for THEMSELVES instead of having a true purpose. That's great, but is it really fulfilling? Each of us has a NEED. Something that we yearn for--that we have a HUNGER for. Acceptance. Love. Joy. We look into ourselves and others to supply these things... but the truth is that men will fail. God, however, prevails! He never gives up on us or leaves us.

God's love, acceptance, understanding and forgiveness never runs dry--He NEVER fails! He's like the best best friend imaginable! He will never let you down. He always works to better you. He never leaves your side. He's pretty awesome if you ask me! And, personally, I felt EMPTY without God. Now that I have Him as a part of my life, I feel FULL and WONDERFUL!

God is my all. He gives me everything I love, and everything I need--even if I don't always like it. He is the best guardian and friend that I could ever have. I proudly call myself a Jesus Freak! God gives me a purpose and without Him I would be lost and feel alone. He FILLS me and He can fill you too!

God brings such unexplainable joy, peace, and forgiveness that if you don't have God, you don't know what your missing. Don't spend another day EMPTY--Let God FILL you!

Shine

Everyone has tough days, crabby days, and blah days, but you can also have SHINING days! Days when your happiness, beauty and joy shine out of you, for the entire world to see! YOU, through your happiness, can lift people up!

Everyone has an internal "light" inside of them. No, we don't actually glow...sorry to get your hopes up... but we do radiate a certain vibe. Being around someone whose crabby, can put you in a bad mood...the same thing can happen with GOOD moods, too! Happiness and love are GREAT lights to shine... but the best thing to show others is God's light!

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

If you strive to show Jesus in everything you do, you will truly SHINE. People will appreciate your love and kindness even if they don't know Jesus-- BONUS: you might even allow someone to get to know God, by YOUR actions!!

This isn't always going to be easy... we all have rough days, but remember to never let anything or anyone stop you from SHINING.

Unique

Who are you? Do you describe yourself as pretty, preppy, kind, or sweet? Or are you ever called things like a nerd....

 

 

 

....Or a Jesus Freak...

 

 

Whatever you are called or considered, you should LOVE yourself! Own your personality, don't try to hide it! Society today makes us think that we have to be a certain thing.... but you DON'T!

 

 

Seriously, don't be afraid to stand out a little! God created you to be YOU, not to imitate someone else. God made you UNIQUE! Love yourself-- every aspect of you!

 





 

 Never change who YOU are! Not for anyone. Of course if there are aspects of your personality that you don't like or are unpleasing to God--like sins and stuff-- then by all means, make the change! But don't try to be someone else. You were made to be YOU-- UNIQUE. So don't change or cover up what God has created you to be.
