Light in the Dark

God never once promised us that this life would be easy and it's not. We've all seen it. We've all faced rough times and periods of difficulty. We've all been through storms. God gives us the storms for a reason. He doesn't promise they'll be easy, but He does promise to be with us THROUGH the rough times and to help us through them!

Since we will ALWAYS have God on our side helping us out, we should never be afraid. Instead we should be setting an EXAMPLE to others. In difficult seasons of our lives, when we are calm and collected and still filled with JOY, people will notice. They will see how dependent we are on God--even in our DARKEST hour! 

If, in every single situation God throws at us we still WORSHIP Him, we still PRAISE His name, people will notice. We will be SHOWING people the truth and the peace that God offers. It is one thing to tell people about God... but what people really take notice of is our ACTIONS. When we ACT for God, in His name, we will shine the light of Jesus and everyone will be able to see Him in us. 

Even when God puts us in tough situations, we are called to SHINE. We are called to live for God in EVERY situation, not just the easy ones. When we live for God and praise Him through even our darkest times, people will SEE the love of Jesus in us. It will SHINE in the darkness and we will be a beacon of light and help lead people to the best part of all: the salvation of Christ. 

God calls us to be the LIGHT of the world--that includes the times when we don't feel like it. We need to live for God during our depression, our pain, our loneliness. If we praise God through everything, we truly will be a LIGHT in the darkness. 

Although we can help by showing Jesus to people in need, there is only one true light: God himself. He will always be there to comfort us, give us peace, watch out for us, and LOVE us. That is true light. God is the LIGHT in the darkness of the world, and His light will last FOREVER. Isn't that just awesome? 

Always Watching

Even in the bleakest or hardest moments of your life, God is ALWAYS there. I don't know if you've experienced this or not, but I feel that He is always giving me little reminders of His presence. A great example was the snow day today. I was extremely stressed about all my homework and things to do and suddenly this snow day just showed me that God was watching out for me. Telling me not to stress.

God loves each of us so much that He's always with us. He is always watching out for us!

 

Even when everyone else in the world has abandoned you, even when you feel completely alone, even when life is at it's absolute worst, God is there. He has a plan for your life and He will get you through it!

God is pathing the way for you even as you read this. He is always with you and will always be there to help you get through! So don't lose faith.

God doesn't want us to be afraid, He tells us so. He wants us to have FAITH in Him and know that He is ALWAYS with us! God is always watching out for you and He always has your back. So, tell me, with Him on your side what do you have to fear? What do you have to worry about?
